We are a church history podcast, hosted by two longtime friends who are young pastors. Our goal is to share church history in a way that is engaging, humorous, and accessible. We also want to encourage our listeners to see the big picture behind the history of the world and the church. Our target audience is 18-39 year olds, often church-going Christians. Our analytics say that we have more male listeners than female.

Design Style: Pop Art with a Blend of Medieval and Modern Elements Format: Square (for use as podcast cover art) Color Palette: Bright and Eye-Catching Colors: Incorporate vibrant, attention-grabbing colors reminiscent of pop art. Medieval Saint Color Palette: Blend in rich, deep colors inspired by medieval religious art (e.g., gold, deep reds, blues). Modern Color Palette: Incorporate modern and bold colors to contrast with the medieval tones (e.g., bright blues, reds, yellows, or even neons). Key Design Elements: Title: The podcast title, "Church History for Chumps," should be prominently featured. Use a bold and dynamic font that complements the pop art style. Illustrations/Artwork: Include illustrations of medieval saints or religious figures in a pop art style. These could be stylized or even abstract. Blend these older images with modern elements, such as vibrant, contrasting colors or modern textures like gradients or geometric patterns. Podcast Theme Integration: Incorporate church-related symbols or icons (e.g., crosses, church architecture, scrolls, halos) into the design. Include subtle historical elements like ancient manuscripts or scrolls to represent church history. Main Focus: Ensure that the design's main focus is on the title and the unique blend of medieval and modern aesthetics. Overall Composition: Create a visually striking composition that captures the essence of church history while embracing a fun and approachable style. Clarity and Readability: Ensure that the podcast title is legible and stands out, even from a distance. Background: Consider using a background that complements the pop art style, such as bold and contrasting patterns or textures. Mood/Feeling: The design should evoke curiosity and playfulness while hinting at the exploration of both ancient and modern elements in church history.
