Isocline secures $6.4M in funding The engineering and tech startup Isocline  secured a $6.4 million round of financing on Dec. 1. The details of the round were not disclosed and Isocline did not release a statement regarding the new funds. The company designs local artificial intelligence platforms to add to any product, like wearables and cars, that does not impact battery life. [ FormDs.com ] Perk.com acquired by San Francisco digital advertising company On Monday, Rhythm One, a San Francisco-based digital media company, announced it will acquire Austin-born Perk.com for an all-stock transaction valued at about $42.5 million. According to the release, the deal will allow for Perk.com to grow and scale its rewards and engagement platform. [ Press Release ] Get Smart Content gains $1.75M in venture capital The personalization platform company Get Smart Content  closed a $1.75 million round of funding led by Virgo Capital and Origin Ventures. This brings the company's total financing to $6.92 million since its launch in 2011. The funding will be used to increase sales operations and further marketing initiatives to support industry demands for personalization solutions that drive website conversions and engagement. For small and medium businesses, SailPoint Technologies , a security software company, ranked 4th, representing Austin as the only local company listed. [ Glassdoor ] EverlyWell recognized as top new startup in digital health EverlyWell , a startup that launched six months ago to provide at-home lab testing kits, earned a spot on the Top 50 in Digital Health as The Best New Startup of 2017. Currently, they are the only company to offer regulatory-compliant lab tests authorized by physicians for users to order and collect samples without leaving the house. [ Top 50 in Digital Health ] Austin Procore team moves into bigger office to expand team Procore Technologies , a developer of construction management solutions, has moved its Austin team of 50 to the 18th floor of the Chase Tower. The move will allot for an additional 50 employees to join the Procore team. Before the move, Procore employees worked out of WeWork Congress and the Vaugnn Building on Brazos Street. [ Silcon Hills ] WP Engine commits to Equal Pay Pledge WP Engine announced today that it has joined the White House Equal Pay Pledge alongside 50 other businesses to take action to commit to equal pay. By doing so, WP Engine will run an annual department-wide gender pay analysis, reviewing hiring and promotion processes, launch equal pay efforts in larger equity initiatives, and identify and promote best practices to close the wage gap.
