I like soft, pastel like colors for a whimsical feel.

While many businesses use a stamp logo, I would like the logo to be more reminiscent of a real postage stamp/post mark. In the old days, when people would vacation, they would send postcards to their families. Those postcards would have postage stamps and postmarks from the places they visited. That's where I got the idea from. No one sends postcards while on vacation anymore, but I think this logo concept would stand out in the crowded market of vacation rentals. I would like the postmark/postage stamp to have a vintage and nostalgic feel that still evokes luxury. I have come across a few examples of what I like by searching Google for vintage postmarks and hope you could incorporate them in your next designs. I even found examples of colors I would like to incorporate into the design that gives a vintage feel (off white, french blue, faded red, aqua colors). I am interested in seeing if a hot air balloon can be incorporated in the design in the middle of the stamp or post mark design.
