大力教育曾经想干的事,豆包干成了 AI不仅能给教育公司做加法,也能做减法 熟悉这位同事的朋友都知道,她外语很差,属于人菜瘾大那种,以前点菜就当盲人摸象,后来有了有道词典,总算摸着点门道,拍张照上传,手机屏幕就像什么高科技设备那样表现出扫了一遍图片的样子,然后再点“文字提取”,接着出现了张差强人意的翻译照,但好歹能用吧。 不过今年这情况倒是大为改善了,至少她是这么说的。据她说,今年她主要用的是豆包,把张menu上传,豆包会先跟你说,这是一张酒单,然后再把菜单上的酒,分门别类地列表放好。 也不能说豆包做得就比有道好多少,但是至少它不比有道差在哪。这让我这位同事产生了一个问题:如果手机里有了豆包,还需要有道词典吗? 她干脆在豆包里输入了Chardonnay,根本没说自己要翻译,豆包告诉她,这个中文叫霞多丽。 不可否认,教育是字节一直想做的事情。早在2016年,张一鸣就曾提出:科技公司跟教育机构的合作是必然趋势,这才是技术和数据的最优化结合。的确,这个行业的链条和字节的流量模型,有结合的基因。 其次,教育也确实是一个高毛利的行业,大力的折戟,很难说不令人扼腕。 今天,字节再次来袭,这些蓄水池还好吗? 不过在听写方面还存在一定的障碍,豆包似乎不太能理解时间概念,它只会一口气把单词读完。 当然,不管怎么说,至少在这个功能上,豆包比deepseek还是好用很多,因为deepseek压根不能拍照上传。 既然能够拍照上传,我们的思路就打开了。我的同事,一位曾经鏖战三小时解出来一道小学五年级奥数题的鸡娃家长,终于在孩子六年级的时候败下阵来。 她把一道应用题拍照上传给了豆包,对方几乎秒懂了她的意思,知情识趣的马上回复了解题思路,就连步骤里小小的坑都给提示出来了。 毕竟和专业的搜题软件相比,AI太全知全能了,仅在教育场景里,它不仅能帮你做翻译,背单词,拍照搜题,还能完成更多更复杂的教育。 比如家长可以根据孩子所在的年级让豆包等ai工具帮助生成一套“海淀区数学或者英语、语文等学科的终极密卷”,我们可以根据自己的需求提示ai需要出的题型以及出题数量,并让它附上答案和详细解析,我们发现这些ai软件不仅可以在几秒钟之内迅速生成对应的习题,还可以根据学生的错题反馈提供个性化的训练。 在与ai不断交互的过程中,它甚至可以根据每个学生以往的做题情况识别出他们的弱点,从而给出更有针对性的学习策略,而这些是老师和家长都很难做到的,也是那些有着“百万题库”、“千万题库”之称的传统线上教育平台做不到的。 ai还可以在写作和阅读方面给学生提供很多的帮助,它可以帮助学生批改语法错误,在阅读一些书籍之前可以让ai帮助我们梳理下思路、整理下要点。 此外,它还能给你提供工作辅助,制定旅游计划,小到一个菜谱,大到论文的审阅,这种使用频次和时间,将迅速展现为马太效应,当你有麻烦事就会打开豆包,那谁还会想起小猿呢? 02 但随着ai技术的兴起,很多学生纷纷转向chatgpt等ai工具,因为它们免费且好用,而使用Chegg不仅要支付19.95美元的包月费用,给出的答案也是教科书预先写好的。用户的流失让Chegg在2024前三季度净亏损高达8.31亿美元,也让其股价较2021年初跌了99%。 当然,在中国市场,工具类软件通常不能通过订阅来获得收入,历来如此。所以无论是有道词典还是小猿搜题,亦或是作业帮,当它们同样受到AI浪潮的冲击时,其收入受到的短期影响不会太大。 但这并不意味着,它们的业务不会被AI做减法。因为无论题库还是词典,都是这些公司实现低成本线上引流的工具,并长期承担了客户蓄水池的作用。 以猿辅导为例,大部分线上教育平台都在拼师资、拼招生的时候,猿辅导切入了“孩子练”这个环节,它通过不断积累和优化题库资源吸引了大量用户,并且开发出了小猿搜题等重要产品。作业帮的发展路线也基本相同,工具类软件帮这些公司完成了规模庞大的用户教育和心智培养。 当然,这些公司为了完成商业闭环,后期都陆续进入到了在线大班课市场,题库在整个集团的业务比重并不算太高,尤其在双减之前,为了短期内完成大量获客,几乎所有头部公司都把主要的获客渠道放在了抖音等短视频平台,题库的作用反而降低了。 这也在相当长一段时间内,推高过行业的业务成本,VIPKID创始人兼CEO米雯娟曾说过VIPKID的单个获客成本平均就达到了4000元。甚至那时高调下场的大力教育也不例外,由于流量成本需要内部结算,实际上大力教育虽然有个“好爸爸”,也无法在营销大战中独善其身。及至业务线被关闭之前,大力教育一直没有跑通盈利模型,这也是双减后,字节在第一时间就关停大力教育业务线的重要原因。 及至2021年7月,双减政策正式出台并实施,包括大力教育、VIPKID等一系列明星、非明星的在线教育公司骤然消失,实际上对于仍留在牌桌上的那些公司来说,转机反而出现了。 因为在线教育的广告受到了限制,大家开始思考别的引流路径,工具类产品的作用显然会得到强化,因为注册并使用这些工具类产品的用户都非常精准。 但不管怎么说,人来了,就会有商机,对于在线教育公司而言,这些基础的用户资源是非常宝贵的,这可以为在线教育公司后续的营销、课程转化以及个性化推荐提供基础,而且,与之前大规模烧钱来获客的方式相比,免费的学习工具叠加大力发展私域确实让在线教育这两年的获客成本有所下降。 03 这个市场的竞争难度又被提高了。教育资源再一次面临着整合与再分配的情景,并且这些在线教育平台通过“题库、词典”等免费学习工具形成的获客蓄水池,也直接受到了豆包、kimi等ai工具冲击,获客难度被瞬间拉高。 传统线上教育平台将这些题库数据、教学资源视为命脉,但它们在这些ai工具的眼里只不过是用来训练模型的“饲料”。那么对于这些在线教育平台而言,摆在眼前的问题就是,如何拥抱ai浪潮,并且重新构建自己的核心竞争力以及获客模式,而不是成为新时代的“燃料”。 至少在公开层面,各家教育公司都表现出了拥抱AI的热情。 例如,网易就曾推出过教育大模型“子曰”2.0版本,即通过ai技术实现了在口语对话能力、知识问答能力和文字处理等方面的全面升级,大幅度提高了模型回答的准确度。后续网易又陆续发布了小P老师、有道速读、虚拟人口语私教Hi Echo 2.0三大AI应用,这进一步拓展了ai在教育场景中的应用范围。 就像周枫说的:“当大技术浪潮到来,应该最快速度去参与,先干起来,速度非常重要”,网易有道确实也是这么做的,在不断的将各种ai应用与教育场景进行深度融合,运用ai给教育做“加法“。 但这真的不是“隔江犹唱后庭花”吗?
