La asociación que defenderá los intereses del ecosistema de la micromovilidad eléctrica prepara los trámites legales para consolidarse jurídicamente y empezar a agrupar grandes y pequeñas empresas de la industria. Teresa Suárez (EFE) El pasado lunes, Sevilla amanecía con la decisión irrevocable del Ayuntamiento de retirar los patinetes eléctricos de alquiler una vez finalice el actual contrato con la firma sueca Voi Technology, próximo a expirar. El Gobierno municipal de José Luis Sanz respalda la medida en el escaso uso y en la reiteración de infracciones que provocan estos servicios de 'sharing' que han estado vigentes durante cuatro años en la ciudad. Si bien alega distintos motivos, el popular sigue la estela de otras grandes ciudades como Valencia, Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid o Málaga , que han dejado en una encrucijada a la industria de la micromovilidad en las principales urbes de nuestro país. Las pugnas entre ayuntamientos y las empresas del sector -como en el caso de Madrid donde la Justicia ha secundado la retirada de flotas ordenada desde el Ejecutivo local que dirige José Luis Martínez Almeida- tienden a caer sobre las administraciones, dejando licencias en el aire o rechazando prórrogas de las concesiones ante la débil regulación de un sector tan joven. Este escenario, precisamente, ha propulsado a la industria de vehículos de movilidad personal a concentrar sus fuerzas en forma de un nuevo 'lobby' para defender sus intereses. Según puede avanzar La Información Económica, el sector cocina una patronal que nacerá con el nombre de CLIME (Clúster de Innovación para la Micromovilidad Eléctrica) de la mano de Gorka Pradas, vicepresidente de la Federación Española de Vehículos de Movilidad Personal (FEVEMP) -una asociación que pone el foco en la promoción y defensa de los usuarios de estos vehículos-. "Estamos ultimando los trámites legales para constituir el clúster como una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que buscará fomentar la micromovilidad eléctrica a través de la colaboración público-privada" explica el propio Pradas a este medio antes de asegurar estar en contacto con "más de una veintena de empresas, desde las más grandes hasta startups" para asociarse a la organización. Mientras atan los últimos flecos administrativos, desde CLIME garantizan tener ya una hoja de ruta definida, donde también tendrán cabida los intereses de entidades de bicicletas eléctricas, baterías, cargadores, así como el fomento del comercio local y la cooperación internacional de un sector especialmente radicado en Europa. No obstante, la asociación centra su atención en reforzar y simplificar la regulación que tanto viene denunciando el sector. Pradas insiste en la necesidad de poner en marcha el nuevo Reglamento General de Circulación de la Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT) que se viene demorando y será esencial para "reordenar y regular cómo deben circular estos vehículos". El sector lamenta la retirada de licencias Consultado sobre lo ocurrido en Sevilla, Pradas cuestiona la decisión del Ayuntamiento al alegar que debe ser la propia empresa que opera las flotas quien cuestione si el producto tiene el suficiente uso para ser rentable. Por otro lado, en el caso de Madrid, argumenta que la redacción de la licitación del Ayuntamiento dio pie a un "entorno incontrolable" que, a su vez, se agravó con incidentes incívicos provocados, en muchas ocasiones, por "agentes externos a los usuarios". Al frente de la mencionada patronal FEVEMP se encuentra Aurora González, quien comparte la línea defendida por su compañero a la hora de lamentar que las sucesivas retiradas de licencias suponen "un paso atrás". "A fin de cuentas, son vehículos que ayudan a saturar el tráfico en las ciudades y a reducir su contaminación", justifica llegando a la conclusión de que la consolidación de este lobby ayudará a "presionar a las instituciones para defender las necesidades tanto de usuarios y empresas, en favor de una movilidad más asequible y eficiente para todos".
