Squirl is a location-based app that lets you discover the places described in books (e.g. Baker Street - Sherlock Holmes). A notification with the excerpt pops up when you pass by a location from a book you might like. You can then click through to buy the full book. With the Squirl app, the entire world turns into a book store. Authors can add their own literary locations through our author tool.

We are looking for a visual that shows the Squirl concept in one eye-catching illustration on the front page of our new website (in development). How does a world look where you can see the real-world settings from books around you? Squirl creates a digital story layer on top of the world for you to explore. - simplistic and colourful style (no facial details etc.) - Don't get stuck on "mobile app". Think more from an augmented reality view without showing AR glasses or other hardware. - Needs to show books (duh!) - At least 3 characters: including 1 author, 1 person holding a phone and 1 person reading a book. - Audience is both male and female. - Possible attribute ideas: life-size location pins, directional sign post pointing to books (e.g.: The Great Gatsby - 4000 miles), travel items/gear,... - Bonus: Try to show Squirl has literary locations worldwide.
